The institution’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Olukayode Amund said this weekend during the institution’s 10th enrollment ceremony for 526 new students. Professor Amund added that the institution will also produce graduates with the right skills and knowledge for nation development and global competitiveness. The university has continued to focus on its mission and vision to make a significant impact on the development needs of the nation through the provision of quality university education. To this end, the Founder has invested heavily in robust physical infrastructure to replace what is available in the developed world with a view to discouraging the patronage of overseas universities by the teeming population of Nigerian students seeking admission into the universities. Our university is a leader in OER open educational resources having uploaded our teaching materials to the learner management system, while our entrepreneurship programs are international in nature. The Vice-Chancellor advised new students to avoid all forms of bad exam practice and other acts of misconduct. Amund said, “The university maintains zero tolerance for worship, robbery, physical abuse, drug abuse, theft, and indecent dress.” University hostels do not have pregnant women care facilities and would not house pregnant female students on campus.Elizade University, which was established by the founder of Elizade Nigeria Limited and Toyota Nigeria Limited , Chief Ade Ojo, commenced operations on January 6, 2013. It has produced six series of graduates, operates 30 fully accredited undergraduate programs across four faculties of Law, Engineering, Basic and Applied Sciences and Humanities, social and management. Management. He added that the university started postgraduate programmers in the 2020/2021 academic year and will introduce new programs in engineering and basic medical sciences this new session.
