University of Guam Recognizes Distinguished Alumni | Money


Six of the community’s influencers were recognized for their achievements and contributions by receiving the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Guam.

The recipients were selected for their professional achievements, civic engagement, academic involvement, character and other significant achievements that have earned them local, national or international recognition, according to a university press release.

An alumnus from each of the university’s schools, including a former military officer commissioned through the university’s ROTC program, received an award at a March 19 ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Guam.

The university’s press release says there are nearly 20,000 UOG Triton alumni serving in fields including government, business, healthcare, education, science and more. still in Micronesia and around the world.
