Transmontagne project

Daily until further notice.

  • Transmountain (Loop 375) eastbound and westbound between US-54 and Tom Mays State Park, alternate lane closures including shoulders. Closed cycle path.

The teams will work on the cable barrier and the mowing strip.

  • Transmountain east and west between Resler and Summit inside the closed shoulders.

The teams will work on the median drainage riprap.

  • Transmountain (loop 375) east and west between Mile 18 and 14 inside the closed shoulders.

The teams will work on the median drainage.

From Monday 22 November to Tuesday 23 November

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Transmountain (Loop 375) westbound between US-54 southbound and Resler, alternate lane closures including shoulders.

The teams will install a cable barrier, guardrail, mowing strip, road markings and installation of signs.

  • Transmountain (Loop 375) eastbound and westbound between Resler and I-10 other lane closures.

The teams will work on the installation of a protective fence with metal beams.

Mesa rehabilitation project

From Monday 22 November to Tuesday 23 November

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Mesa south and northbound between Sunland Park and Baltimore.

Teams will line the road.

US-54 ramp modification project

Front road of US-54 Freeway (Patriot Freeway)

From Sunday November 21 to Monday November 22

Every evening, from 9 p.m. to 3 p.m. (closing at 6 p.m.)

  • US-54 northbound at the Kenworthy exit ramp, complete freeway closure.
  • The Transmountain entrance ramp (Loop 375) to US-54 is closed.
  • Gateway North between Pleasant Sands and Sean Haggerty left lane closed.

Teams will work on relocating portable concrete traffic barriers and pavement markings.

Loop 375 rehabilitation project

From Monday 22 November to Tuesday 23 November

6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Cesar Chavez Border Highway Loop 375 eastbound between Campbell and Fonseca reduced to one lane.
  • Exit 58 of the Cesar Chavez border highway eastbound is closed.
  • The Paisano entrance ramp to Loop 375 eastbound is closed.
  • The entrance ramp from the Patriot Freeway (US-54) to Loop 375 eastbound is closed.

The teams will work on repairs to the base of the pavement.

City-wide OSB project

Tuesday 23 November

Night, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • I-10 heading east and west between Zaragoza and the 375 loop closed.

Teams will move concrete barriers to open lanes.

Railing repair project

Sunday November 21

7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • I-10 westbound between Raynolds and Copia right lane and Ramp A closed.

Monday 22 November

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • US-85 eastbound between Sunland Park and Crockett left lane and I-10 east ramp is closed.

Tuesday 23 November

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • I-10 westbound between Artcraft and Transmountain left lane closed.

Wednesday, November 24

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • East Missouri between Magnolia and Walnut left lane closed.

Project to build a conductor against the flow of loop 375 (border highway)

Sunday November 21

9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • Loop 375 westbound between Paisano exit and Spur 1966.
  • Detour via Paisano and return to Spur 1966.

The teams will modify the construction concrete barrier.

  • Joe Battle Boulevard (westbound frontage road) right shoulder and right lane closure between 375 loop and Lee Boulevard
  • Westbound traffic on the front road will merge with the center and left lanes

The teams will work on the lighting

From Monday November 15 to Friday November 19

Every day, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Montana Avenue (US 62/180) right lane eastbound and right shoulder closure between Smoke Signal Drive east of George Dieter Drive
  • Eastbound traffic will turn right into the right lane of George Dieter Drive and not the right turn lane

The crews will work on the lighting and lighting of the high mast

From Sunday November 21 to Monday November 22

Every evening, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

    • Montana Avenue (US 62/180) eastbound (front road) left shoulder closure at Lee Trevino Drive
  • Montana Avenue (US 62/180) westbound (front road) several lane closures on the left at Lee Trevino Drive
  • Westbound Montana Avenue (US 62/180) (front road) traffic turning south on Lee Trevino Drive will continue west and detour at the N Yarbrough Drive turn
  • Northbound traffic on Lee Trevino Drive will turn right onto Montana Avenue (US 62/180) and detour at the turn of George Dieter Drive

The teams will work on the lighting

Tuesday 23 November

Every day, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

  • Montana Avenue (US 62/180) eastbound at N Yarbrough Drive closed
  • Eastbound traffic should follow the direction of the EPPD officer while the traffic lights are dark for three hours

The teams will work on the transfer of the power source

Loop 375 front road project

From Monday November 15 to Thursday November 18

Every day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and

Every evening, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (night)

  • S Americas Avenue (front roads) alternating southbound and northbound, lane closures between Gateway Boulevard East and North Loop Drive
  • Traffic on S Americas Avenue may be reduced to one lane in certain areas

Every evening, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (night)

  • The 375 Northbound Loop off ramp is closed at Pan American Drive (Exit 47)
  • 375 Loop Northbound Entrance Loop Closed to Pan American Drive
  • Exit 375 loop southbound closed at Alameda Avenue / Socorro Road (Exit 47)
  • Southbound Loop 375 off-ramp is closed at Pan American Drive (Exit 48A)
  • 375 Loop Northbound Entrance Loop Closed to Pan American Drive
  • Traffic will detour to the next available slip road

  • South-to-north South Americas Avenue (front road) turn will occasionally be blocked between North Loop Drive and Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks
  • South-northbound traffic on Avenue des Amériques du Sud will remain open and will be signaled in the work zone.

Loop widening project 375

Monday, November 15 (complete closure)

Every evening, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (night)

  • Complete lane closure of Loop 375 southbound between Pellicano Drive and Bob Hope Drive
  • Southbound Loop 375 traffic will exit at Pellicano Drive and re-enter Bob Hope Drive

The teams will put in place a concrete pavement

From Monday November 15 to Thursday November 18

Every day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Joe Battle Boulevard (front road) heading north alternating left and right lanes between Zaragoza Road and Alameda Avenue
  • Joe Battle Boulevard (front road) southbound right lane closed between North Loop Drive and Zaragoza Road and UPRR turn
  • Closure of the southbound right shoulder of Boulevard Joe Battle (front road) between Chemin Zaragoza and the entry ramp to loop 375 of Zaragoza
  • Southbound traffic on Joe Battle Boulevard (front road) may be reduced in some areas

Thursday November 18

Every day, from 9 a.m. to 4 a.m.

  • Joe Battle Boulevard (front road) closing of the right lane northbound between the South Americas
    Avenue and Joe Rodriguez Drive
  • Southbound Loop 375 traffic will use the front road and re-enter Bob Hope Drive

Teams will install high mast lighting

Connection I-10

Sunday November 21 and Monday November 22 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • A complete closure of Ramp N, which connects Eastbound Loop 375 to Northbound I-110, will be in place.
  • Teams will repair a bridge joint.

Sunday, November 21 and Monday, November 22, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

  • A complete closure of the Juarez exit will be implemented. No detour. No access to Juarez. Complete closure on Ramp F, which connects I-10 westbound to I-110 southbound, Bridge 2, and Ramp A, which connects I-10 westbound to US 54 northbound .
  • A complete closure of Bridge 15 at Ramp D, which connects US 54 southbound to I-10 eastbound, will be in place. A closure of the right lane will be put in place at the gore of bridge 15.
  • A complete closure of Ramp H, which connects I-10 eastbound to US 54 northbound, will be in place. US 54 north and southbound traffic will head to Trowbridge Drive and use the U-turn to get to I-10 westbound, then take Ramp A to US 54 northbound, use U-turn Pershing Drive to get to US 54 southbound.

Tuesday November 23, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

    • A complete closure of US 54 northbound at Loop 375 will be in place. Ramp N, which connects Loop 375 eastbound to I-110 northbound, will be closed to all traffic.
    • DETOUR: Traffic should take Exit 56 (Fonseca Drive), use the U-turn and continue on Loop 375 Westbound to Ramp R, which connects Loop 375 Westbound to US 62.
  • Ramp O, which connects loop 375 westbound to US 54 northbound, will be closed to all traffic.
  • DETOUR: Traffic should use Ramp R, which connects Westbound Loop 375 to US 62.
    • Ramp T, which connects Gateway North to US 54 northbound, and I-110 entrance ramp northbound, will be closed to all traffic. The closure of the entrance ramp from I-110 Northbound to I-10 Eastbound will be in place.
  • DETOUR: Traffic should take Alameda Avenue, turn left onto Raynolds Street and continue on I-10.
  • Northbound I-110 traffic will be forced into the left lane and exit the Americas Bridge north. Traffic will be directed to I-10 eastbound.

The teams will carry out the layout work and the installation of the EX6.

Tuesday November 23 and Wednesday November 24 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • A complete closure of Ramp P, which connects US 54 southbound to Loop 375 westbound, will be in place.

Teams will repair a bridge joint.
