Online Teacher Induction Program ends at GNDU, Amritsar: The Tribune India

Professor Manoj Kumar, Exam Controller, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), on Tuesday advised young professors attending an introductory workshop to continue the learning process and encourage creativity.

Addressing the culminating ceremony of the GNDU Month-long Faculty Induction Program, Professor Kumar said, “Teaching is a very noble profession and teachers should be very careful in their conduct as they nurture impressionable young minds that ultimately shape a country’s future. “

The program ended at the UGC-Human Resource Development Center of Guru Nanak Dev University. No less than 36 teachers participated in the program, learning about the latest advances in teaching.

HRDC Director Professor Sudha said HRDC-GNDU is working hard to conduct various training programs for teachers and researchers. The course had several prominent speakers including Professor Ved Prakash, Former President of UGC, Padma Shri Professor GD Yadav, Former Vice-Chancellor, TIC, Mumbai, Professor SK Mehta, Vice-Chancellor, University of Ladakh, Professor Umesh Kulshrestha, Dean, School of Environmental Sciences, JNU, Prof. Brijesh Dubey, IIT-Kharagpur, Prof. RK Pradhan, IIT-Kharagpur, and many more besides GNDU Faculty.

Applications are invited for various 06 faculty induction programs, liberal arts, basic and applied sciences refresher courses, and short term UGC approved courses. – TNS
