Lincoln Schools Add New Archery Coaches – The Interior Journal

Lincoln County Schools is pleased to announce Jeremy Hawkins as the new Archery Head Coach. Hawkins will be joined in the staff by Kourtney Taylor, new assistant archery coach. Both will oversee high school and college programs.

Hawkins is an avid archer who has coached at the elementary level and volunteered with middle and high school archers for the past four years.

“My dad and uncles introduced me to archery at a young age and I love it,” said Coach Hawkins. “I also passed on this love for archery and the outdoors to my daughter and my plan is to instill a passion for archery in our students. I want them to have fun and develop a passion for archery that will last a lifetime.

Coach Hawkins currently lives in Lincoln County with his wife Christie and their daughter Madison who attends Lincoln County Middle School.

Assistant Coach Taylor is a teacher at LCHS and also has experience in the Lincoln County archery program.

Coach Taylor said, “I am very fortunate to be an archery coach. It’s a passion that I’ve had since I was four and something that my family and I share. I am happy to be able to share this with the students.

The two plan to start immediately and will send information to middle school and high school students early next week on the coming season.
