FOOTBALL: Kankakee, Wilmington Semi-Finals Tickets Available Online | Sports



Tickets for the Kankakee and Wilmington football semi-finals are on sale, and fans are encouraged to purchase them online ahead of Saturday’s games, under IHSA rules this fall.

For the Kays IHSA Class 5A Home Semi-Final vs. Morton and the Wildcats Class 2A Home Semi-Final vs. Tri-Valley, tickets are available through GoFan or on the mobile app (available for download at stores Apple and Android apps for free) or on

Tickets are $ 8 for both games. The Kays welcome Morton at 3 p.m. and doors open at 1:30 p.m. The Wildcats clash with Tri-Valley begins at 5 p.m., with the doors opening at 3:30 p.m.

Kankakee told the Daily Journal if he will offer a limited cash line, but is asking as many fans as possible to purchase tickets in advance. The school is also challenging the community to fill the stands on Saturday.

“The Kankakee Kays football team and staff wish to express their appreciation for all the support they have received so far,” the school said in a press release on Monday. “They challenge the Kankakee community to pull out all the stops for this week’s semi-final contest and buy 2,000 tickets.”
