Check petrol and diesel prices in major cities of Odisha on October 9


The price of petrol and diesel varies depending on several factors such as local taxes, value added tax (VAT), transport costs, etc. Petroleum product prices are now aligned with market rates.

Public sector CMOs including BPCL, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd revise fuel prices daily based on international benchmark prices and exchange rates. Any changes to fuel prices are implemented from 6 a.m. daily.

On October 9 (Sunday), petrol and diesel are priced at Rs 103.19 and Rs 94.76 respectively in the capital city of Bhubaneswar, while the fuel tariff is Rs 103.28 for petrol and Rs 94.84 for diesel in Cuttack.

Similarly, in the pilgrimage town of Puri, petrol is sold at Rs 103.44 and diesel at Rs 94.99 on Sunday.

The price of petrol and diesel in the city of Sambalpur in western Odisha was recorded at Rs 104.38 and Rs 95.93 respectively.

Petrol is priced at Rs 103.18 in Balasore while diesel is priced at Rs 94.76 in the same town. In Ganjam, petrol is sold at Rs 104.66 while diesel is sold at Rs 96.17.

Similarly, the petrol fare in the southernmost town of Odisha, Malkangiri, on Sunday is Rs 108.92 and the diesel fare is Rs 100.29.
