Arnett-Hartwick inducted into ISU Hall of Fame

Sally Arnett-Hartwick of Carrollton was inducted into the Illinois State University College of Applied Science and Technology Hall of Fame.

She was selected on the basis of her performance and leadership in her profession, her service to the institution and her recognition at the state, national or international level.

After earning a home economics degree in the State of Illinois, Arnett-Hartwick completed a Masters and Doctorate in Workforce Training and Development at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, with a specialization in family and consumer sciences.

She was a teacher educator at Northern Illinois University for five years, before returning to Illinois in 2013 and being promoted to full professor.

Arnett-Hartwick has received several awards, published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, received over $ 900,000 in research grants, and served as president of the Illinois FCS Teacher’s Association.
